The wildly popular South Korean variety series Running Man has been revived for a continued run! Since news of the show's cancellation broke late last year, brokenhearted fans have petitioned against its end, with many leaving heartfelt messages about how Running Man has been an important part of their lives over the past seven years.

Encouraged by the immense amount of support streaming in from all corners of the world, it was announced on 24 January that the production team has decided to continue the show with its current cast. The announcement on the show's cancellation came about after a divisive decision to drop Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo from the show's regular line-up.

Fans reacted with disappointment and anger, leading to renewed discussions within the production team that ultimately resulted in the show being brought back.
